Why? What is Apple *exactly* doing better than Adobe? Can Apple add value to FrameMaker? I doubt so *very* much. Personally I don't find any acquisition -- either way -- likely in *any* future. As a 'roundly ripped off Mac user' here, my balanced opinion is that by closing off historical upgrade routes - not just for FrameMaker, but for the Creative Suite apps too - Adobe has created much more negative marketing than the value of the few extra upgrade dollars it creates.
