Nadine, didn't think about that either. I did look for ideas about a special combination of keys that would represent a standard apostrophe, like backslash-something. A spell check can fix those for you. In the Spelling Checker dialog, click Options. In the Options dialog, make sure Find Straight Quotes is selected. FM will offer to replace each straight quote with the appropriate curly quote. Richard G.
