FWIW, I have had the same "hidden dialog box" problem with FM10 on Win XP.

Since being forced to move to Win 7, I've seen this problem with a number of programs (including Acrobat 9, which is what I'm using). When a program displays a modal dialog box requiring input from the user (such as a File Save or Print dialog, or message that must be acknowledged), that dialog box should take focus -- that is, appear on top of all other open windows and be selected. In Win 7, this often doesn't happen. I can't tell you how many times I've thought that an application wasn't responding to my input only to realize that there was a dialog hidden somewhere, waiting patiently for input from me. Aargh! I assumed that Win 7 introduced some changes in app-to-OS communications that pre-Win 7 apps don't properly handle. But Acrobat X was released _after_ Win 7, right? Could it be that the problem is with Win 7 itself? Richard G.
