Unfortunately, Dan is using FrameMaker 10, which doesn't have Object Styles.

Check out Object Styles in FrameMaker 11. I don't believe there's a k/b
shortcut in the current version, but by storing object styles (chapter 14 of
the book) you can rapidly apply a slew of properties across a wide range of
FM objects.
