Granted. But some of us are at the mercy of corporate IT and software licensing
departments who can take anywhere from a couple of months to more than a year
to validate, approve, and license a new version and make the installation
available from the IT servers. My recollection is that FM11 was already well
into beta test before FM10 became available to users around here. Maybe
they'll do better with FM11...
But even if I could make a case to my manager for an upgrade, I'd have to be
able to save a lot of hours to financially justify a $600 upgrade [from FM9,
which is my current version] or even a $400 upgrade [from FM10]. That kind of
money can pay for a lot of plug-ins, add-ons, or scripts to make an older
version work the way one would like.
