Tony,You need the Clean Import plugin. You manually clean up on chapter in the
book, then run Clean Import against the rest of the book and you are done.
Works with para tags, char tags, cond text, etc.

variables across all chapters in a book and I can’t find a way to do the
deletions except chapter-by-chapter. Importing variables from one up-to-date
chapter to others does not perform any deletions of variables not on the
