Thanks for that article, Carol. I've been using PDF from Visio source (sometimes Illustrator or CAD drawings), and I'm currently using PNG for screen captures. I used to use TIFF, but then something changed. I'm not sure if it was going from Windows XP to Windows 7 or changing my laptop, but the TIFF figures were all fuzzy and the PNG ones weren't (when I look at PDF and HTML). I haven't tried printing the PNG graphics; we just ship PDFs and since our customers haven't complained, maybe they're not printing them either.
