You don't say how you are trying to remove table style overrides. Most likely those tables do have overrides, set using Table > Custom Ruling and Shading. Try: . Selecting an entire problem table . Select Table > Custom Ruling and Shading' . Uncheck 'Custom Cell Shading' . Select 'From Table' under 'Apply Ruling Style' . Check all the 'To selection' and 'Inside Borders' checkboxes . Click on 'Apply'. If that fails to fix the table, I've not idea. 'From Table' here means 'From the specifications in the Table Designer. -- Steve
