Bringing *attention* to bad grammar might be worthwhile, but defacing historic signage is a criminal act (or anyone's signage for that matter). The sign was known to contain errors, but because of its historic nature, it was left standing. Perhaps you should hunt down the tree that Daniel Boone carved "D. Boone kilt a bar" and fix that one up too.
