Stuart, Carla Thank you both for your suggestions (sorry if I missed anyone else!). It didn't look like Modified FrameMaker Utilities Carla suggested would work with my version of FrameMaker.
At Stuart's suggestion, I tried ResourceHacker and within minutes managed to modify and test the dialog in question. Wow. What a powerful tool! Thanks again for all your help and suggestions. -Michael -----Original Message----- From: Stuart Rogers [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, February 11, 2008 3:08 PM To: Michael O'Neill Cc: framers at lists.frameusers.com Subject: Re: Annoying FrameMaker Question Michael O'Neill wrote: > Hi Folks, > > > > I am using FrameMaker 6.x and am very annoyed with the size of the > Show/Hide Conditional Text window. Handle with care, but you should be able to fix your problem with it. The file you want to BACKUP!! before modifying is fmdlg.dll in C:\Program Files\Adobe\FrameMaker7.0\fminit\ http://www.snapfiles.com/get/resourcehacker.html (There are lots of other source URLs, just google it.) best, -- Stuart Rogers Technical Communicator Phoenix Geophysics Limited Toronto, ON, Canada +1 (416) 491-7340 x 325 srogers phoenix-geophysics com If it makes things work more easily, why isn't it called lubrican?
