As Art said, you need to set up your master pages correctly. When the text frames on your master pages have the Autoconnect property turned on, FM automatically creates new pages as each fills up. But it uses the default Left or Right master page (as appropriate) as a "template" for each new page. If you've simply modified a specific page's text frame to produce a two-column layout, but not modified the master pages, then the new page will have the one-column layout of the master page, not the customized layout you created for the preceding page. Please study the portions of the online help and/or manual dealing with page layouts and master pages. HTH! Richard Richard G.
