For the record, the Wash as MIF command works perfectly in the free trial 
version of Mif2Go. The only thing affected by the trial version vs. the fully 
licensed version is that the word order is randomized in many of the converted 
output formats (e.g. HTML Help) so that you cannot use the trial version to 
produce real deliverables. The utility functions work fine.

Manual washing is only a few simple steps (saving as MIF, then opening the MIF 
and saving as .fm), but when you have Wash via MIF in the menu you get really 
lazy...
