Hi Framers, We have two rather large technical manuals (300+ pages each with text and illustrations) that will need to be translated into Russian (90-95% of the material is common to both manuals). The content involves low to mid-level information on mechanical, hydraulic, high-power, low-power, fiber-optic, and telemetry systems (and a kitchen sink). We have not had to do any translations prior to this, so it is unknown territory. I'd appreciate any comments about how the process works, how to make it successful, and what pitfalls to avoid. You can contact me off-list if you prefer or if you have specific recommendations.
