I think that we need to remember that this list server group contains numerous artist filmmakers. It is not a totally professional group. I used to wear a button that said “Anarchists Unite”. I have made many stupid comments here, some out of anger, some out of frustration of being an experimental filmmaker or whatever was bothering me at the time. I also receive negative feedbacks, insults, etc. Yet I am still here!
I have been a friend of both Bruce Cooper and Eric Theise for a long long time. They are big boys and can handle themselves quite well. An off handed comment on this group happens quite often. It is never a good idea to dishonor those who have passed away, at least for me. Many do not feel that way and I do not take offense to those who speak their minds here. To my memory I have never heard of anyone being banned from this site, even in the early days when many on the group were constantly insulting each other or flaming out their emotions. We experimental filmmakers are a rare and unique breed. My feelings are that if u get hung up on what people are says then u need to bow out! My two cents to this conversation.
