I remember meeting Michael many years ago in Toronto, we hung out of a full
afternoon and he drove me around. Somehow we spent the whole time laughing. Not
sure what we were even laughing about and everything seemed funny being with
him. He had a great laugh and a wicked sense of humor. Will never forget that
afternoon and even now I am smiling.

The same thing happened in NYC when Michael, Kenneth Anger and myself were
included in the Whitney Biennial. There was a party exclusive for all the
artists (friends and family could not attend). I immediately located Michael
and then Kenneth came along. Michael was laughing since no one was talking to
any of us and we hung out drank some wine and laughed. I believe that even
Kenneth started laughing.

So sorry to see Michael join the long list of elders from the field pass on. It
is sad, yet I am smiling.
