Hello Matt,  Ok so to load the lomo I use a dark bag. A different process but
it works well for me. I put the tank on the left hand side of the bag  fully
assembled. Along with the reel I'm developing both on the left of the closed
dark bag. Lid comes off goes into upper right hand side. Tanks reel goes in the
center right. Here I take off the top spool with spacer and top screw lock,
rest those on the lid. Grab my film on the lower left turn it so emulsion is
facing out and thread the film. Place the top spiral assembly and tighten but
not to much. Enough to wear you feel no more give. I pull the film so it is
slightly below the spiral with a slight angle facing out. I begin the spooling
and check every 2nd or third turn that it is properly in the grooves. I find it
easier to load 16 than 8. At least on my tank. It takes some practice but keep
at it you'll get it to go. Good luck!MannySent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device

[Frameworks] lomo tank instructions Matt.. I've done this about 300 times now
and the first 20 times I did it without an old record player - it was
difficult. I HIGHLY suggest getting an old record player (not something you use
to play your precious vinyl), cut a round piece of cardboard and place it on
top of the record player. The spindle in the middle of the record player (the
silver knob that sticks up to register the record) should perfectly align with
an indentation in the center of the lomo spindle - helping register the lomo
spindle as well. Once you've properly threaded the first layer of the spindle
(in complete darkness - I use an IMAX changing tent and everything fits
inside), you can start spinning the lomo spindle (film should be sprockets
down, emulsion out and I spin clockwise). I suggest putting your reel on a
rewind feed to help it roll off. ALSO - hold the film nearly horizontal -
nearly parallel with the spindle platform itself.. this helps the film clear
the narrow opening between the first and second level of your lomo tank. Repeat
this process with layer 2. It is VERY fast this way and much easier on the
shoulder.. very little drag when loading. Warren Tampa, FL On Thu, Aug 15, 2024

instructions on loading a 50' Lomo tank with 16mm film. I believe I have all
the correct spacers for the tank. I hear there's a manual somewhere online, in
Russian but highly illustrated. I can get the film threaded but am having
difficulty spooling film onto the tank's spiral reels. Every YouTube video
makes this look incredibly easy but I keep bending the film and jumping the
track/groove. looking to hand process with a cleaner image — Matt--
