Hi,Anna Grimshaw’s book “the ethnographer’s eye”is pretty good survey of 
potential works to show.
As for more contemporary work,  Mark Lapore’s Sudan trilogy, ‘The Glass 
System’, and ‘A Depression in the Bay of Bengal’ are unique.Difficult to see 
unless you can rent them from canyon or visit the academy film archive.
Ben Russell’s short films, two from the trips series in particular im thinking 
of are ‘Trypps 6’ and ‘black and white trypps 3’.
