I'll amend my previous negative comment with the observation that there's an interesting line running from Muybridge through the motion study work of Frank and Lillian Gilbreth
https://archive.org/details/0809_Original_Films_of_Frank_B_Gilbreth_02_12_34_00 and later picked up in the motion studies of dead animals (putrefaction causes more motion than you might think) that Peter Greenaway incorporated into Zed and Two Noughts. (Well, my degrees are in industrial engineering & management science, so maybe it's only interesting to me.)
