It is interesting to note that the Electric Company Theatre 2006 piece Flick mentioned is basically a recycling of the ideas of the 1983 Philip Glass/Joanne Akalaitis work "The Photographer/Far From the Truth." The video clip of the 2006 piece which is up on the Electric Company website is very similar to my memories of seeing the Glass opera.
