The live radio addition to Blonde Cobra is one of the most effective things about it - providing a jarring interjection of the present day into the now fifty-year old film. The first two screenings of Andy Warhol's Sleep featured a transistor radio playing at low volume throughout the film. From the same time period, Barbara Rubin's Christmas on Earth featured a live radio soundtrack.
