As a quick update for others who may be interested- I've been messaged that melted wax works. I've also just ordered some non-toxic, 5-free, organic nail polish that I'll be testing in a few days with the bleach, to see if it keeps the film emulsion. If folks are interested in how this goes, what non-toxic brands work best, etc, please feel free to msg me! Cheers and happy handmade filmmaking! Kelly Gallagher www.purpleriot.com [email protected]
