The only print I showed was Serene Velocity by Gehr, but I used a Sharits DVD and a DVD of FLUXUS work to get the early bottoms film by Yoko Ono (Gehr and Ono being discussed in the MacDonald).
I also tried to include an orientation toward film and video that drew its inspiration from the manipulation of mass media. The text I used for this was in the Video Vortex Reader (#4) and mentions Ian Breakwell's diary for broadcast (as well as a stunt by Chris Burden). But my great discovery fell under the underground heading, where it made sense to be talking about the use of actors and the thinking about rehearsals (think of Kuchar's "I a Woman"). Check out Franz Zwartjes, out of the Netherlands. Bernie On Sat, Mar 28, 2015 at 4:36 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > I showed Wavelength yesterday to first year Fine Art students.
