Why not just "usb_"? You can then leave it as is then avoiding violating
POLA second time. Otherwise people would confuse it with USB 2.0.

At least, can you document it? Like add an explain about that usb2 is just
a name, not USB 2.0, that way no users can mistake it for USB 2.0. Even
smarter people can mistake it for USB 2.0, btw.
