Google Chrome Web Store creates an icon on your browser startup page.
By clicking on this icon, you could automatically be authenticated to Freeciv using OpenID. Other than that, the Chrome Web Store is a convenient way for users to discover new web applications.

By the way, Mozilla has also announced plans for a similar application store. https://apps.mozillalabs.com/
