I can confirm it, a bit :D
For me 2.3.4 on gentoo doesn't show any lines,
but on trunk yes,
I had earlier similar issues but its related to xorg-server, some versions
work ok, some not, thats all strange ( as far I remeber those lines are only
with trident, amplio is ok )
( now I have 1.14.0 ), probably changing some nvidia-options or xorg option
would fix it.
