Follow-up Comment #2, bug #22607 (project freeciv):
I note there's a scrollbar on the blank page, so it's probably not empty; it
looks like the characters aren't being drawn properly.
In Options / Local client / Font, what have you got selected for "Help Text"?
Does changing it make a difference?
