Follow-up Comment #1, bug #24298 (project freeciv):

What tileset are you using? (default is amplio2)

That might be relevant since the crash happens when handling a sprite from a
tileset.

Miniaturization enables Offshore-Platform, so I wonder if there's something
wrong with that sprite when it becomes available as a build target.
Note that we actually have only two sets of building sprites, where most
tilesets refer to 'buildings-large' and some tilesets to 'buildings'. Does the
crash happen with both of them? (you can switch between 'Amplio2' and
'Isotrident' tilesets, for example, that both are tilesets for isometric map,
but use different building sprites)
