no, I mean I have a cvs tree on my laptop that supports FD style and MS style menuing, but I have a small bit more work to do on it and of course quite a bit of testing still

passing time is meaningless to me
one week, one year, morning, evening, night ... its all the same

(and atapicdd is not abandon'ed it is just moved towards the bottom of a huge list of things to be done, so far down in fact it is taking years to get back on the active list; by that I mean I will one day provide a release quality version but I can't say how many people will still be able to run any sort of DOS by then :-)
