Testing on Virtual PC 2004, I created a new virtual machine with a new hard disk. After running xfdisk and rebooting, the installer did not prompt me to format C:. The text installer started, but reported an out of disk space error when installing the first package. I ran FORMAT C: and rebooted, and then the installer worked fine. After the text installer finished, I got a number of messages like "[Undefined message 3.0]" (I chose not to pick a language other than English at startup; is this related?)
