I already revectored that to the new IRET handling routine when you mentioned it earlier on list. CMC is slightly neater code, but not enough to go back in and goof with it right now. Whole thing is probably a theoretical change, I'm not sure the other flag status would affect any code running under DOS. >and modifying BL at XMS/3-6 functions (at disen_share). No, doesn't look right. A20 handling was turned off, plus not modifying BL on A20 enable/disable is against my XMS version 3.0 spec. I put A20 handling in there to work with EXEPACK so it's not going away without a good reason. And BL must be set to known non-error value or else it can inadvertently fail the function. The A20 emulation remapping always succeeds. >BTW, what you mean by "build subdirectory"? Do you mean, that I should >move batch and make files from SOURCE\EMM386 directory to somewhere else >(and, consequently, change batch files to work _from other_ directory)? I mean your changes get their own subdirectory, as was offered. You can branch it off of SOURCE\EMM386 or whatever you want, but you cannot commingle with existing source, binaries, etc. other than a DOC. > "BUILD" is good and proper name, because batch files are work for all > known widespread (in our community) compilers, not only for TC. But what > you mean by this "directory"? Is it some place in your ftp-server (which > will contain your package with build subsystem) or is it directory > _inside_ package? Inside the package. What good would putting it separately on the ftp server do? That's not a distribution change, that's a site change. > What about fix for issue with DOOM, which you found under VPC?
