It is perfectly okay to support only TC++ at the moment. Also freeware.
Well, TASM is not, but Arkady even has TASM.

Nice. Before that, you can help to bug-hunt FreeCOM 0.84, which
is pretty important at the moment.

You can assume that UPX now supports compressing combined sys-exe binaries
like EMM386 and HIMEM out of the box. Older versions only supported plain
SYS and plain EXE, which is why Tom wrote SYPACK / SY2PACK / SY3PACK /
whatever. As that one is closed source, Michael later figured out how
to make UPX support that file format, and eventually the UPX maintainers
even did hear Michael's advice.

Might depend on the used assembler (masm, tasm, nasm) and on the
used version of UPX and on command line options like --8086 and --best.
