I figured the files had been dumped way back when and just left to rot
since... and it wasn't much back then, doesn't seem to be anything now or
at least qemu can't do anything with it assuming I rolled it correctly...
Slight it as I may, at least FreeDOS works in the vast majority of usage
cases that don't involve software published by Microsoft, which is more
than can be said about the other free DOS clones.
