If we want to be compatible with MS-DOS, EDLIN is the only
alternative. As is ed the only standard Unix editor.
We are aiming to be MS-DOS 6.0 compatible, and that had MSEDIT as it's
default editor. But as mentioned, this is too large, so I think that E3
is an absolute legitimate option to include on the boot disk...
