While I do not use VM (I use dosemu2) I do think VBADOS is useful :-)
No opinion on row4 and fdtui, though.

What is vbados? In about the same tool as vmsmount for vmware which
is already distributed with the FDT24xx ISO images, but it works with
virtualbox, means: You can move files from your machine thru to the
FreeDOS machine with vbsf.exe.
Tests with actual edrdos and Windows and Linux showed me that it
works fine, I had no problems with time stamps at Linux Mint etc. as
they were reported
by Robert Riebisch 2002 in a german blog, see:

I did not test the mouse.
It would be great if vbados (vmsmount is already) could be added to
the FDT24xx distribution, it makes life easier. In virtualbox you
simply have to enter the shared directory, vbsf.exe finds it and
gives a drive letter for it - and you can move files through.
