Well, here are my thoughts on VBADOS.

For me personally, I tend not to use “Guest Tools” under either VirtualBox or 
vmWare to mount directories. I more often lean on other networking tools (like 
EtherDFS) or simple use a DOSBox variant. For me, I don’t have much use for 
those in DOS. But, that is just because it is easier for me working across 
multiple machines. However, I can see how having some “Guest Tools” available 
for mounting host directories would be much easier for the general end user. 

Since more users are running FreeDOS under virtual machines for various 
reasons, I think it would be a great addition to the release media. However, I 
don’t think it should be installed by default. It would probably be better if 
it were included on the BonusCD. Or possibly, just as an additional package on 
the main install media (LiveCD, LegacyCD and Full USB stick).
