2. Until someone makes a free version of VBDOS, we probably should avoid
using stuff written with it for FreeDOS. VBDOS makes things a lot easier,
but the cost is whatever you write with it can only be so free as long as
there is no free compiler or runtime. I made this mistake 25 years ago.
