“FreeDOS” Version Control System (utility)

Its primary function is automatic preservation and restoration of file time
stamps when using Git.
It also does a number of other things related to packages. One such feature is
fetching and updating
NLS translation files from FD-NLS and integrate them into packages.

The bug only affects certain types of packages with NLS, not all packages.
During the install process,
V8power is the first “special” package that requires a different type of
handling when updating NLS.

The V8Power package is “damaged” both at GitLab and on T2505. So, I will need
to fix it after fixing the bug.
The PkgTools package is only damaged on T2505.

I was using the new version 3 of FDVCS for a few weeks on my local system
before 1.4 was released.
So, it is possible that there are others that could be damaged.

Since, 1.4 installs fine with “Full” I think it damaged the V8Power when I did
the mass “Typo Correction”

However, It would be a very good idea to test install everything on the BonusCD
for 1.4 to make sure nothing
slipped by on the release.
