If I wanted to protect my mona lisa, I would
encrypt it and put the key in the first 640k
where I can be sure the BIOS wipes them :-p

Unless of course...

- somebody takes the chips out and has an adapter
  where he can read them without any BIOS messing

- somebody forgets to disable FireWire, then I can
  fetch the RAM contents without cooperation of the
  operating system because all devices have DMA host
  access ;-)
