Well, this is correct but a bit misleading as i use BC31 under MS-DOS 6.22. But to be sure i just made a short test. Using a diskette to boot FreeDOS on the mashine where BC31 is installed and just starting the BORLAND IDE, calling some pop-up menus and browsing through the help function (but not actually editing or compiling any program) i could not find anything unusual. ver/r gave the following result: FreeCom version 0.84-pre2 XMS_Swap [Aug 28 2006 00:29:00] DOS 7.10 FreeDOS kernel build 2036 cvs [version Aug 18 2006 compiled Aug 18 2006] The computer is a very old one, with a 486(!) processor and 16 MB menory and my FreeDOS disquette is set-up in such a way, that it uses a RAM disk as system disk (drive E). ___________________________________________________________ Neu: WEB.DE De-Mail - Einfach wie E-Mail, sicher wie ein Brief!
