Q87 claims to work with MS and DR EMM386. So I assume you mean FD EMM386 here. Did you try (much improved) JEMM386 instead??? http://www.japheth.de/Jemm.html > Franke 387 loaded without any problems, but 7zip didn't > detect a math coprocessor. Is Franke 387 the same as that link I pointed to earlier (Q87)? Make sure to try the Q87 link (although apparently the company is AWOL, but at least you can test for 20 mins at a time, heh, silly shareware). 7-Zip? Now finally something I know about! What version are you using? I know I had troubles on my 486 Sx with newer p7zip compiles (oddly, which is probably a bug in our abandoned GNU Pth port), so I had to either stick to old old buggy 4.57 (mik's) or HX + (Win32 console) 7za. But you can try any or all of these. (This is why I wanted to know what apps.) http://sites.google.com/site/rugxulo/7zip465x.zip?attredirects=0 http://sites.google.com/site/rugxulo/7zip465s.zip?attredirects=0 http://www.japheth.de/HX.html http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/7-Zip/9.20/7za920.zip/download http://sites.google.com/site/rugxulo/p7z913.zip?attredirects=0 (using FSU pthreads, thanks to Khusraw) P.S. For whatever reason, despite requests, nobody ever had the time or inclination to mirror / update newer p7zip builds for FreeDOS on iBiblio. It still only has my (old old buggy) "4.61 beta" DJGPP compile. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Increase Visibility of Your 3D Game App & Earn a Chance To Win $500!
