1) The RoBoard/DMP devs often make announcements on the djgpp mailing lists
and bttr forum.
2) iirc, the vortex86ex is like a cross between a 486dx/586/mmx proc w/o
cmov. The cwsdpmi code may be doing something with the fpu/mmx regs that
the ex can't handle. There's also watchdog timer too iirc.
3) The other thing about the ex is that it uses ddr3 ram. If the 16 bit
code is hooked up to the ram refresher, that might be causing your issues.
