I assume you've tried booting FreeDOS anyway, just to check? My guess is FreeDOS doesn't boot at all on this netbook. For example, if you boot from the LiteUSB or FullUSB image. Without a "Legacy" option (or any other option that looks like it would provide "legacy BIOS support") I'm afraid this Atom netbook won't boot DOS. All DOS systems (including MS-DOS and FreeDOS) rely on BIOS for underlying services. I'd poke around the "setup" menus one more time and see if you can locate a "Legacy" setting.
