tsiegel - thank you for posting, I am aware that Lynx continues development, but compiling for DOS is quite another matter entirely. You'd also need an updated TLS library.
Karen - I have posted before on Lynx for Dos, it is now posted here: https://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/repositories/1.3/html/en/net/lynx/20220217.0/index.html Get an updated cacert from curl to replace the outdated one: https://curl.se/docs/caextract.html Or, you know, you could probably also simply steal it from elinks. For the elinks, as stated, you need doslfn. I let the elinks zip extract it to the default of /opt, and created an empty /elinks. (Which it will use to store its files) In /opt/elinks/bin was a el.bat. I renamed the cacert to ca.pem and changed it in the el.bat file. From there, I ran it and it seems to work just fine. Reminiscent of links, but quite different, I highly recommend turning on color and tweaking other options. Does seem to have a graphics mode like links but the graphic mode of links is slow and unstable anyway.
