Dear Dimitry,

I tried out the current version under windows 2000, java 1.5.0.08 and get white 
color on white background when editing and light gray nodes for the nodes that 
are not currently edited. I haven't changed the windows colors AFAIK.

Honestly, I'm not so lucky with the system colors at all and would like you to 
comment it out or the introduce an option for it that is disabled by default. 
Then, we can return to the topic later.
