Hello Dimitry

first of all, I consider starting this discussion right now, before the
coming release, to be a distraction. The question you are asking is: how
could we implement embedded images in the next version? I would propose
that, currently, more valuable questions are: what bugs are there left in
the coming 0.9.0? What tests could the development perform to discover these
bugs? What pains could everyone take to ensure that there are fewer bugs
than there have been before? Could you please focus on cleaning up the
coming release, instead of considering the future versions of FreeMind?

I do not think there is anything questionable about the topic "The design
and representation of bitmap images in FreeMind data format"; it is not
researched. So before you jump in a certain direction of implementation,
could you please at least brainstorm one or two alternative solutions to the
one you are proposing? Also, could you please brainstorm two or three
aspects in which those solutions might be good or bad? In any case, doing
that only after 0.9.0 would be welcome.

If you want to seriously discuss how to implement embedded images, please
extend the wiki page for this topic that I have created; in there, please
describe your solution.

(I know that you are vacationing, so I do not expect any response before the
planned group chat. I would preferably refrain from discussing this topic
any further.)

Best regards,
Dan
