However, what about just waiting a couple of weeks until 0.9.0 is 
released? For now, FreeMind suffers from "feature creep": new features 
and enhancements are introduced just before release, which causes new 
bugs to appear, and the release is constantly delayed because of that. 
This, in turn, causes more impatient people to lobby for adding even 
more essential features, and the cycle repeats. It's a pretty common 
phenomenon in project management, in fact, I've seen many projects fail 
because of feature creep.

I think it's been continuing for a year or more, and is really harming 
the project. That's why Dan is suggesting delaying discussing new 
features till after the release. Even if it doesn't involve coding, it 
still takes away time and attention which is currently best spent fixing 
bugs.
