it occurred to me it might be good to summarize the steps pending:
1. Minimal version of FreeMind Windows installer (Chris)
2. 0.8.1 release in Linux release packages if appropriate (Eric)
3. Adjustment of the main page and of the download page in the wiki
(Dan)
