On a second thought, it seems to me that my offer to help you was not
exactly meaningful.
One more thought still. Users did not really wait for more than two years
for 0.8.1. They waited only since Java 1.6.0 has been released, which is a
much shorter time period. Other then fixing the Java 1.6.0 issues,
0.8.1provides almost no benefit over
0.8.0.
Anyway, I understand that the Linux packages for 0.8.1. are not going to be
there soon.
