Dear Dimitry,
with my email, I tried to explain that I do not undestand the intent of your
email. After your explanation, my understanding has not improved.
You explained that your mail was a tip [sic] that beta 16 has not yet been
published. Sure, it has not yet. We know that, don't we? Your first email
started with the following statement:
: I think that the new beta should be called "Beta 16".
What has this to do with letting people know that beta 16 has not yet been
published? And the subject title is "New beta version can be tagged Beta
16".
Given the last beta has had the number 15, is that any surprise that the
next should be called beta 16?
I have to admit that I understand neither of your emails.
The only explanation that I have is that there is some dispute about whether
the coming beta should be numbered 16 or 17, a dispute to which I was not a
member, so presumably, the dispute would have to be running between you and
Chris. Anyway.
As you have now said that no action is needed, I will leave it at that.
Best regards,
Dan
