(for some reason, SF rejected the below message after 4 days, hence 2nd try)
Hi, I didn't get much reaction to my last email concerning Sun's icons, though it's rather important if we want to get FreeMind into Debian. Anyway, 2nd point is copyright and the same and some issues with licenses, I've created a patch on this topic: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2112160&group_id=7118&atid=307118 Can we discuss this and/or have at least the main copyright owners Chris, Dan and Dimitry agree to the "patch"? Regarding Joerg Mueller, I can try to contact him, but perhaps one of you have more personal contacts with him and could make it shorter? What about Jens Kaiser? For the other pieces: - the ones with Berkeley/MIT/etc licenses should be OK. - the ones with GPLv2+ are probably discutable, and, if nobody objects, I would check. - regarding the JCalendar pieces (LGPLv2+), I don't understand why we don't have it as library instead of having integrated the sources!? If we integrate the sources, it's to be considered like GPLv2+ (IMHO always).
